Both the Minnesota Venture Capital Conference (MNVCC) and the Bleeding Edge Technology Showcase (BETS) feature some of our region's best technology.  But technology without a business model is not a business.  Venture Capitalists do not believe that "if you build it they will buy".  On the other hand, most exciting businesses started out as a pure technology R&D project in a college or corporate lab at one time.

We want you to apply to present at the MNVCC and the BETS.  We are seeking business and technology leaders in the following fields, divided in to 2 categories; NetSuds (telecom, datacom, IT and Internet) and MedicalSuds (medtech, biotech and life sciences). 

Technologies should be disruptive to current practices and markets.  10-20% increases in efficiencies or 10-20% decreases in costs are not exciting.  We're looking for ideas which are 2X - 10X functionality, 2X - 10X decreases in costs.  We're looking for large market opportunities with great teams assembled to capitalize on those market opportunities.

Unlike the MNVCC, presenters at the BETS do not have be from pre-IPO companies.  Nor do BETS presenters pay an extra fee to present.  BETS runs in parallel with the MNVCC.  In fact, sessions are interspersed with each other.  It's all one big conference!  To apply to present at the MNVCC, click on the Entrepreneurs link in the left column above.  To apply to present at the BETS, click wherever you see the word BETS.
